City of New Orleans Restarts Curbside Recycling

As of May 2, 2011 curbside recycling has resumed in New Orleans, with the exception of the French Quarter and the Downtown Development District.  Weekly pick-ups will accept all paper, cardboard, boxboard, plastics #1-7, metal cans, and waxed cartons.  

To register and receive a recycling cart, visit recycle.nola.gov.
