RecycleMania 2010 is on now!
RecycleMania is a friendly competition among college and university recycling programs that provides the campus community with a fun, proactive activity in waste reduction. The 2010 national RecycleMania competition runs from Sunday, January 17, 2010 until Saturday, March 27, 2010.
Each year, Tulane Recycling coordinates the RecycleMania effort at our university. Unlike other schools, however, our version of RecycleMania allows you and your friends to win prizes for your team’s recycling efforts. Teams and residence hall floors compete by bringing recyclables to Friday afternoon drop-offs behind Butler Hall.
This year’s prizes include:
- Passes to the Audubon Zoo for the winning small team,
- Passes to Adventure Quest Laser Tag for the winning medium team,
- Party at Rock-and-Bowl for the winning large team, and
- Party at Der Rathskeller for the winning residence hall floor team (see additional rules below).
